done. Every year Expo’s winning trade show formula
achieves significantly better results for its exhibitors.
Once again, this year’s show was the best ever.
Keen to see the products and services being offered by
221 exhibiting companies, an all-time record of 5966 visitors
from 2538 companies visited Expo. And most were serious
buyers, with a significant proportion of visitors actively
seeking to do business.
Independent research conducted at the show for Expo revealed
that an astonishingly high 84 per cent of visitors said
they would be doing future business with exhibiting companies
as a result of visiting Expo. The same research indicated
that 82 per cent actually did business while at the show.
There is no big secret to Expo’s ongoing success.
First and foremost, its early January dateline is perfect
for new season product launches.
Next, we as organisers take pride in providing all exhibitors
with a five-star hassle-free service, before and during
the show. We also appreciate the need to keep space costs
to a realistic and affordable level, thus ensuring exhibitors
get real value for their investment.
Finally, we work hard at getting dealers to the show with
a highly effective pre-show publicity programme, culminating
two weeks before Expo opens with the mailing of free tickets
and Show Guide to everyone in the trade.
We have exciting plans for next year’s show. Not
only will they reinforce Expo’s position as Europe’s
biggest and most successful trade event for the motorcycle,
scooter and ATV business, but also its value as an essential
annual showcase for the entire industry.
