Promotion
Targeted pre-show trade promotion has been key to Expo’s
long-running success and for its string of record-breaking
attendance figures over the last twelve years.
In the months leading up to the show, the promotions schedule
will include direct mail shots and an email campaign to
all dealers in the UK plus a massive trade press advertising
campaign, primarily targeted at the UK but also including
key European markets.
Expo’s advertising schedule will include British
Dealer News (UK and Europe), International Dealer News
(Europe and the USA), DueRuote News (Italy) and Scooter
Trade & Industry (UK). It will also include the two
consumer publications most widely read by the trade, MotorCycle
News and Trials & Motocross News.

www.motorcycle-expo.com incorporates a visitor ticket
order page plus information about hotels and flights into
Birmingham International Airport and train station. For
exhibitors, the site keeps them advised of Expo developments
through the year.
Free Trade Tickets
To encourage the widest possible trade audience, audience
admission to Expo is free. Ticket application forms for
trade tickets will be distributed via British Dealer News
and the international trade press from September onwards.
In addition, bulk quantities of application forms will
be supplied to exhibitors for distribution to their own
customers through their sales and accounts departments,
warehouse and sales representatives. Tickets will also
be available through Expo’s website.
All free tickets will be mailed together with the British
Dealer News Expo Show Guide two weeks prior to the show
opening. Approximately 14,000 trade personnel will receive
tickets and Show Guides.

The traditional Trade Awards Night on the show's opening
Sunday will again be sponsored by Expo & British Dealer
News.
